Truvolt operates under ISO-aligned quality management practices that govern every stage of transformer manufacturing — from raw material selection to final dispatch. Our in-house design validation ensures every product meets its specification before physical manufacturing begins.

Full traceability is maintained across all critical materials — CRGO core laminations, electrolytic copper conductors, and insulation systems — so every unit can be tracked back to its source. Stage-wise inspections at each production milestone ensure defects are caught and corrected before they progress further.

Routine Testing

Every transformer undergoes routine tests covering ratio, polarity, vector group, no-load and load losses, and impedance measurement — all per IS / IEC protocols before dispatch.

Dielectric & Insulation Resistance Tests

Comprehensive dielectric strength and insulation resistance testing is carried out to verify the integrity of winding insulation systems under rated and over-voltage conditions.

Temperature Rise Tests

Temperature rise tests confirm that winding and oil temperatures remain within permissible limits under full-load operation, ensuring safe and sustained performance in the field.

Impulse & Short-Circuit Tests

Where applicable, impulse withstand and short-circuit tests are conducted at Truvolt's works or at approved third-party laboratories — validating the transformer's ability to survive fault conditions.

IS 2026 Compliance

All oil-immersed power and distribution transformers are designed and tested in full compliance with IS 2026 — the primary Indian standard for transformer construction and performance.

IS 11171 Compliance

Dry type transformers are manufactured and tested per IS 11171, governing the construction, insulation, and performance requirements for indoor and outdoor dry type units.

IEC / BS Standards (On Request)

For export markets and international projects, Truvolt products can be designed, tested, and documented to IEC or BS standards — ensuring regulatory and customs clearance in global markets.

Utility & PSU Specifications

Beyond standard compliance, Truvolt meets specific utility and PSU technical specifications from WBSEDCL, SBPDCL, NBPDCL, MSEDCL, CSPDCL, APSPDCL, and other discoms.

Third-Party Lab Testing
